One of the most common problems that medical practitioners have to deal with is lower back pain, which is remarkably common. One statistic commonly quoted that illustrates this point, is that, in the span of a year, approximately 20% of the work force will be out of work for at least 2 weeks due to lower back pain. That works out to be one in five individuals, who are gainfully employed, being out of work each year for lower back pain – WOW!
